Aubrey S. Crews, 94, of Germantown, Tennessee, died on May 15, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Memphis. Born on December 8, 1922 in Lauderdale County, Tennessee to the late George A. & Rachel Ellen Crews, he was one of 7 children. A graduate of Ripley High School, he was a 50 year retiree as a Traffic Manager for Film Transit, Inc. Aubrey was a member of Kirby Woods Baptist Church, and former Deacon at Oakville Baptist Church. Aubrey S. Crews, 94, of Germantown, Tennessee, died on May 15, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Memphis. Born on December 8, 1922 in Lauderdale County, Tennessee to the late George A. & Rachel Ellen Crews, he was one of 7 children. A graduate of Ripley High School, he was a 50 year retiree as a Traffic Manager for Film Transit, Inc. Aubrey was a member of Kirby Woods Baptist Church, and former Deacon at Oakville Baptist Church. The family will gather on Thursday, May 18th from five o'clock until seven o'clock in the evening. Friday, May 19th visitation will again be held from one o'clock until funeral services begin at two o'clock in the afternoon, all at Kirby Woods Baptist Church, 6325 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119. Burial will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens Cemetery where he will be next to his wife, Virginia Lynn Moore Crews, who preceded him in death. Mr. Crews is survived by his daughters, Charlotte (Terry) Cox, Donna (Edward) Mizialko, and Joy Crews Nichols; sisters Elizabeth Treusch and Bobbie (Raney) Webb; and brother George "G.A." (Shirley) Crews; grandchildren, Trent Cox, Marisa Bost, Jennifer Adair, Robin Byrd, Aubrey White, and Tyson Mizialko; and five great-grandchildren.
