Although we loved him dearly, we couldn't make him stay. He will be missed beyond words by so many people near and away. Larry was a Harley riding Alabama fan with a heart of gold. He had an infectious personality and always loved making everyone laugh. He loved his family and would do anything for them. Preceded in death by his loving mother Jerri Foster, he leaves behind a daughter Jennifer Davenport Giles, step daughter Wendy Neilson, 3 ½ grandchildren; Samantha, Brayden, Landon and baby Giles expected in February. He had an infectious personality and always loved making everyone laugh. He loved his family and would do anything for them. Preceded in death by his loving mother Jerri Foster, he leaves behind a daughter Jennifer Davenport Giles, step daughter Wendy Neilson, 3 ½ grandchildren; Samantha, Brayden, Landon and baby Giles expected in February. He also leaves a sister Kerri Davenport Moore, his father Larry Henley Davenport, Sr., his step mother Mary Ellen Davenport, his step father Darron Foster and numerous uncles, cousins and a niece and two nephews, who loved him dearly.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 9, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. in the Life Remembrance Center of Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38119
